    Most New Zealanders want changes to our drug laws


    A new survey from the Drug foundation has found 68 percent of those asked want a health based law approach.

    61 percent support removing penalties for drug use in favour of education and treatment.

    Drug Foundation Executive Director Sarah Helm says we have seen evidence this works.

    She says a meth programme launched in Northland is preventing use.
