The Prime Minister is all for four-year terms

The Prime Minister is all for four-year terms

The Government's putting forward legislation potentially allowing the extension of the Parliamentary term.

All three parties in the coalition have agreed to support it to a select committee - with the final decision subject to a referendum.

While speaking from Vietnam, Christopher Luxon says the idea has real merit.

He says it would give Government's more time to get things done and allow voters to make a more informed call on its performance.
