A call for experienced pharmacists with strong leadership qualities to serve on the Pharmacy Council

A call for experienced pharmacists with strong leadership qualities to serve on the Pharmacy Council

Associate Health Minister David Seymour says he's seeking nominations for new members - to uphold high standards within the profession.

He says he's concerned the Council's been imposing cultural competency requirements - and this is acting as a barrier to entry for skilled professionals.

Seymour says pharmacists are integral to medicine access - and we needed a qualified workforce of practitioners to ensure quality healthcare.
