The Prime Minister's confident the Government has the money to back its expanded Defence plan

The Prime Minister's confident the Government has the money to back its expanded Defence plan

It's pledged 12 billion dollars over four years for a variety of infrastructure, including enhancing strike capabilities, replacing Boeing 757s, and upgrading javelin anti-tank missiles.

It'll raise our defence spending to two percent of GDP.

Chris Luxon says all will be revealed in the upcoming Budget.

He says they can manage it within their fiscal settings and each business case will go before Cabinet to evaluate their worth.
