People are being reminded of the intention of the cannabis referendum

Along with the euthanasia referendum, there's also on the Cannabis Legalisation and Control Bill.

College of Clinical Psychologists spokesperson Simon Adamson says some psychologists view this as an opportunity to reduce drug harm.

He says this law will regulate and control a drug that's already in New Zealand.

Although election results will be visible from 7pm on Saturday, preliminary results on the Cannabis and End of Life referendums won't be released until October 30.

The official results will be released on November 6.
