Andrew Little has laid out the details of the latest offer rejected by nurses

Andrew Little has laid out the details of the latest offer rejected by nurses

The Health Minister says they've offered to lift basic pay rates and provide an advance on the settlement of the pay equity claim.

Together he says they add up to a pay rise of five-thousand-800 a year - plus a lump sum payment of seven-thousand-200 dollars - a total of 13 thousand dollars in the next year alone.

Union members say the offer fails to address safe staffing.

Strikes are now back on the table for next month and September.
