A major blow for Gloriavale, as Westland Milk Products cancels its deal with the Christian community

The company will suspend milk collection from Gloriavale-owned dairy farmers from Monday.

Silver Fern Farms is ending its relationship with the Christian commune, while Alliance Group and ANZCO foods are reviewing theirs.

Auckland University marketing expert Mike Lee says it's difficult to know what impact this will have.

But, he says it's safe to say it is a major change to Gloriavale's portfolio, and the next question is who else is going to pull out.
