Another former Minister's addressed Parliament's Justice Committee, submitting against the Treaty Principles Bill

Kiri Allan, who was Labour's Justice Minister in 2023, joins the likes of former Treaty Negotiations Ministers Chris Finlayson and Andrew Little -- who submitted on Monday.

Allan called the Bill a simple abomination, which seeks to erase Maori from their own history books, and their own lands.

She says its designed to incite the fear Maori benefit from the Treaty in ways other New Zealanders do not -- which is a simple lie.
