    Feedback is open on a new draft Traffic and Parking Bylaw for the Queenstown Lakes District


    The council's proposed changes include enabling police to enforce the fitting of snow chains on vehicles, updating definitions to aid regulation, adding clauses to help regulate shared zones and paths and encouraging cycling.

    General Manager Property and Infrastructure, Tony Avery says a lot has changed since the last bylaw in 2018.

    He says since traffic and parking continue to be key community concerns, it's important the public have their say.

    Formal submissions will close September 7th .
