A Labour Party MP is endorsing Wayne Brown, despite a member of the party being a rival candidate

Labour's Kerrin Leoni is going up against Brown.

Responding to a Facebook comment, Phil Twyford says Brown is getting his vote.

He says Brown may be a grumpy old man, but also a centrist, and claims there's no credible opposition.

In the same comment thread, Leoni says Brown's not endorsed by Labour and stands against Labour policies like Maori wards, and opposition to asset sales.
