Jules Radich is being remembered for his fight for Dunedin's new hospital

The City Council is holding a special meeting this afternoon to share memories of the former Mayor who died this month - while still a sitting councillor.

Current Mayor Sophie Barker says the 71-year-old's biggest achievement was the hospital campaign.

She says he wore 'Save Our Hospital' campaign T-shirts at every chance - even in front of the Government at an LGNZ meeting.
