The Canterbury DHB is asking locals to please come to their surgical appointments

The Canterbury DHB is asking locals to please come to their surgical appointments

The DHB is re-booking planned care that was postponed due to the Covid-19 crisis.

Chief medical officer Dr Sue Nightingale says although people may still have some concerns about catching the virus - they're confident the risk is low.

She says if people get a message about a new outpatient appointment or a planned surgery - it's important to attend.

Nightingale says these appointments are part of helping people stay well and recover faster.
