Wait times at Covid-19 testing centres in south Auckland stretched for over an hour today

Wait times at Covid-19 testing centres in south Auckland stretched for over an hour today

That's according to the Director-General of Health, who claims it'll improve moving forward.

Ashley Bloomfield says about 60 per cent of swabs in Auckland are taken at general practices.

He says he wants people to know they CAN go to their doctor or urgent care clinic, and a test is always free.
