    This country's still being reactive in our response to the Covid-19 pandemic


    Everyone vaccinated against Covid-19 is logged in the Covid Immunisation Register - but health officials say they don't capture the vaccination status of those entering the country.

    Auckland University professor of medicine Des Gorman says a year ago he was calling for proactive management.

    He says here we are still behaving reactively, and waiting until the wheels fall off the wagon before we check the wheel nuts.
