    A North Island town is being urged to pump up its Covid testing


    We have 102 new Covid community - eight in Waikato, the rest in Auckland

    A Waikato case travelled to Napier during their infectious period, but two close contacts have tested negative.

    More than 3000 swabs were taken across the region yesterday.

    But Director General of Health Ashley Bloomfield says anyone with symptoms should get a test, particularly in Te Awamutu.

    He's urging anyone who's travelled in or out of the town in the past week ... to get a test.
