    District Health Boards say their latest pay offer to allied health workers is still on the table


    An eleventh-hour package on Friday was turned down by the Public Service Association, ahead of today's strike.

    Staff including dental therapists, physiotherapists and anaesthetic technicians have walked off the job for 24 hours.

    DHB spokeswoman Keriana Brooking says DHBs and the PSA need to settle the dispute, so both can focus on pay equity issues.

    She says it's an issue they both agree on.
