The Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid vaccine is being withdrawn worldwide - because there is now a "surplus of available updated vaccines"

AstraZeneca has been moving into respiratory virus vaccines and obesity drugs as demand has slowed for covid vaccines.

It's previously admitted in court documents the vaccine causes extremely rare side-effects, such as blood clots and low blood platelet counts.

It was shipped to New Zealand at one stage of the pandemic.
