Kiwis are being urged to put down the booze for the month, to raise money for cancer

Kiwis are being urged to put down the booze for the month, to raise money for cancer

Dry July kicks off on Monday, with over 100-thousand dollars already raised.

Dry July spokesperson Clare O'Higgins says it's a chance for people to do something good for their health, and fundraise for a good cause while they're at it.

She says the funds will go towards non-medical services for cancer patients, so they can navigate life Beyonce diagnosis and treatment.
