Another brand of tahini has been recalled following a salmonella scare

Another brand of tahini has been recalled following a salmonella scare

NZ Food Safety is recalling 160 gram jars of Al'Fez Tahini Paste with a batch marking of 3355 and a best before date of 06 2025.

The product has been sold by Foodstuffs South Island throughout selected supermarkets.

Deputy director-general Vincent Arbuckle says salmonellosis can be serious, so it's important people don't eat these products.
