    Research shows possible protective factors for dementia, and stroke from weight-loss jabs - with more research needed


    Jama Network journal's published a survey of more 60-thousand patients with type two diabetes and obesity, aged 40 and older.

    Over seven years, those taking medication such as Ozempic and Mounjaro - were less likely to develop these brain issues or die prematurely.

    But Edinburgh University's Professor Tara Spires-Jones told ITV effectively treating diabetes and obesity reduces known risk factors - so it may not be the drugs directly impacting the brain.
