A deadlock during the Harvey Weinstein rape trial

A deadlock during the Harvey Weinstein rape trial

Jurors have indicated they are at a standstill on the most serious charges but the judge has told them to keep trying.

The jury asked Judge James Burke if he would allow them to be hung on two counts of predatory sexual assault while reaching a unanimous decision on other charges.

While Weinstein's lawyers would have accepted a partial verdict, the prosecution said no.

They will resume deliberations on Monday.
