    A 48-year-old's been arrested following a homicide in Northland

    A 48-year-old's been arrested following a homicide in Northland


    It follows the death of a 73-year-old man yesterday at a property in Omapere, near Opononi, on the Hokianga Harbour.

    The man's due to appear at the Whangarei District Court today, charged with murder.

    Detective Inspector Rhys Johnston from Northland Police says the homicide investigation continues.
