At least four people will appear in court for allegedly displaying gang insignia after today's tangi in Gisborne

Up to 400 gang members and associates attended the tangi - and police say the number of offenders was comparatively small.

Police are seeking the driver of an impounded motorbike who allegedly failed to stop twice - and will be following up with several people spotted leaning out the window of vehicles.

Three other vehicles were impounded.
