    Gloriavale leader Howard Temple is now a convicted sexual offender, after changing his pleas mid-way through a trial in Greymouth


    RNZ reports Howard Temple now admits 12 charges - including indecent assault and indecent acts.

    He earlier denied 24 charges of sexual offending involving girls as young as nine - other charges have been dropped.

    The 85-year-old is remanded on bail until August 11 when a sentencing date will be set.
