    An Alexandra man's been sentenced to 12 months' home detention, after Customs found child pornography on his phone at Queenstown Airport


    Derek Elliot Bussell admitted to having more illegal material on two hard-drives and his home computer after being arrested in October last year.

    Investigations revealed more than four thousand and four hundred objectionable images or videos on his devices - including bestiality and extreme acts of torture.

    The ODT reports Bussell will be registered as a child sex offender.
