A targeted search for Dezi Freeman has wrapped up for the day - with still no sign of the accused cop killer

Australian Police believe the 56-year-old took his life shortly after two police officers were shot dead on his Porepunkah property in August.

Officers have been scouring an area of Mount Buffalo the past two days.

A similar search of the park took place in December last year, with police scouring the land for his remains.
