    Police are pleading with motorbike riders in Bay of Plenty to wear appropriate safety gear - after recent crashes


    Eastern Area Commander, Nicky Cooney, says Police are seeing more motorcyclists not wearing the correct protective equipment, including a helmet.

    She says it could be the difference between walking away from an accident - or not.
