A man's been charged in connection to allegations of historical abuse at several West Auckland schools

A man's been charged in connection to allegations of historical abuse at several West Auckland schools

Police are appealing for information from the public to assist with the allegations of offending in the 1980s to early 1990s.

They've refused to clarify what charges the man's facing, whether he worked as a teacher or which schools are involved.

He's due to go to trial next August in the Auckland District Court facing seven charges involving two alleged victims.
