    The coach of a 25-year-old MMA fighter killed in an unprovoked attack, wants minimum sentences for similar coward punch attacks


    Fau Vake died in hospital in 2021 after he and his brother were attacked by four strangers on Symonds Street in Auckland.

    His assailant was released from jail after 11 months.

    City Kick Boxing founder Eugene Bareman says current law changes making their way through Parliament don't go far enough.

    He wants a minimum non-parole period of eight years for fatal attacks.
