Could the end be near for work emails?

Could the end be near for work emails?

A review by Georgetown University Computer Science Professor Cal Newport reveals electronic messaging may be doing more harm than good.

The investigation found emailing slows down productivity, because of the wait times in response.

Cal Newport says it can also make us lose focus.

He says because we are checking our emails every six or so minutes, we begin to lose our ability to concentrate.
