    Emails are warning of 'staffing crisis' at Canterbury's Forensic Mental Health Service


    Emails obtained by our newsroom, show Te Whatu Ora has acknowledged pressures on their specialist mental health and addiction services.

    It's putting a large part of the problem down to workforce shortages .

    Specialist service general manager Vicki Dent says staffing's significantly improved recently -- across almost all professions.

    She says Te Whatu Ora is committed to improving and transforming the system to ensure everyone needing support gets it.
