Any international students allowed across the border would need to quarantine

Any international students allowed across the border would need to quarantine

The Government's told education providers not to expect to bring overseas students in this year.

But Victoria University Vice-Chancellor, Grant Guilford, says universities should be in charge of quarantining their students.

He says they'd only come from countries where Covid-19's under control, would have to test negative before coming, do 14 days isolation and return two negative tests.

Guilford says these students know they're guests of our country, and if they strayed from quarantine rules they'd be dis-enrolled from the university and deported.
