Universities are considering examination formats this year

Universities are considering examination formats this year

Auckland University says its exams will be held online, open-book and unsupervised this year, with some limited exceptions.

AUT, Waikato, Lincoln and Canterbury Universities haven't decided what they'll do yet.

Wellington's Victoria University expects exams will stay the same as last year, where Dean approval is needed for in-person exams.

At Otago University, most on-campus summer school paper exams will be in person, and the university is planning the same for semester one papers - except for particularly large classes.

Massey will continue to deliver exams online, as it has for several years.
