School leaders are preparing for Omicron cases

School leaders are preparing for Omicron cases

Schools can open under the red traffic light setting, but students in year four and older must wear face masks.

The Post Primary Teachers' Association Melanie Webber says they are liasing with the Government on best ways to protect staff and students.

She says the student and teacher safety is a priority, and so her organisation is doing all it can to help make schools a safe place.
