    A probable case of Whooping Cough has been detected at a Christchurch primary school


    Putahi Belfast School received notification of a case of the highly contagious respiratory disease and was advised of other Whooping Cough cases in the local community.

    Cases of Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease were also reported to the school by the National Public Health Service.

    Belfast School Principal Jo Johnstone posted a warning on Facebook and is urging parents to keep their children at home if they appear symptomatic.
