Erica Stanford's hinting next year's Budget will have more focus on secondary schools

Erica Stanford's hinting next year's Budget will have more focus on secondary schools

The Education Minister says a large chunk of 2.5 billion dollars spending in the sector will go towards primary level learning support.

Stanford says they're investing early, so young people enter high school at the level they should be.

She says the maths tutoring trial will also benefit secondary schools, as it's extended to more intermediate students.

Stanford says high schools have too many children years behind in literacy and numeracy.
