A 72-year-old man's been arrested - in relation to alleged, historic sexual assault at Auckland's Dilworth School

A 72-year-old man's been arrested - in relation to alleged, historic sexual assault at Auckland's Dilworth School

He's been charged with three counts of indecency with a boy aged 12-16.

Auckland City CIB Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Greaves says this comes out of Operation Beverly, which looked into decades of offending at the school.

The charges relate to additional offending stemming from ongoing inquiries.

Greaves says they've spoken to more than 150 former students, but is still encouraging anyone who hasn't spoken with the team to get in touch.
