    The Tramways Union says bus drivers have to balance accommodating accessibility and getting on with the job


    A recent review into the Wellington region's new bus network has highlighted the plight of some disabled passengers.

    Issues include commuters not vacating designated seats, audible announcements not working and drivers with poor attitudes.

    But Union Wellington secretary Kevin O'Sullivan says common sense usually prevails even with drivers under time pressure.
