Public health services are continuing to contact trace, test and isolate close contacts of the three community cases reported on Wednesday - who travelled to Taupo last weekend

The family of three, linked to the Christchurch to Auckland charter flight, travelled to Taupo without knowing they were infectious.

There are now 35 close contacts - eight have returned negative test results, and the remaining have been or are in the process of being tested.

    All close contacts are self-isolating.

One of the cases on the charter flight is under investigation.
