Some NZ post shops in Auckland are operating at alert level 2, despite the rest of the country being at level 1

Some NZ post shops in Auckland are operating at alert level 2, despite the rest of the country being at level 1

At alert level 2, businesses must keep employees one metre apart and limit the number of people in the store.

An NZ post spokesperson said they were implementing the restrictions at 5 locations in Auckland.

NZ Post is staying at the raised alert level because of the close proximity of the stores to some of the cases.

Branches at Victoria Street, Ellerslie, Glen Innes, Pakuranga and New Market are those operating at level 2.
