A clash between Auckland Airport and Air New Zealand's top bosses

A clash between Auckland Airport and Air New Zealand's top bosses

    Auckland Airport

Airport CEO Carrie Hurihanganui has suggested our national carrier's too dominant in the domestic travel market, holding 84-percent share of the market.

She's said Air New Zealand doesn't meet the needs of consumers or regional communities.

Its Chief Executive, Greg Foran, says in 2012, just 34-turbo props were servicing regions.

He says it now has 53 -- and soon 54 -- providing plenty of extra regional flights.
