All flights are cancelled in and out of Wellington this afternoon - in dangerous winds

Air New Zealand has called off all departures and arrivals until 6pm tonight - including international services.

Qantas and Golden Bay Air have also cancelled flights, and all Jetstar and Sounds Air flights aren't flying today.

Four flights made it out this morning and one Jetstar flight from Auckland had a missed approach.
