A brand of frozen green garlic's been recalled due to possible Salmonella

New Zealand Food Safety says it's recalling the Deep brand's product with an expiration date of November 29, 2026.

The frozen green garlic's sold at ethnic supermarkets throughout New Zealand.

Deputy director-general Vincent Arbuckle says affected products shouldn't be consumed, unless the products are cooked thoroughly.

The recall is an expansion of Vimms Enterprise Limited recalling all batches of their Deep brand Sprouted Mat, Sprouted Moong, and Surti Undhiu Mix.
