    The ski season in Queenstown comes to a close today with final runs at the Remarkables ski field


    NZSki Chief Executive Paul Anderson says they were blessed with great snow coverage late in the season.

    He says they had fabulous spring conditions for the locals and riders to enjoy, with a big storm at the beginning of the week.

    Cardrona closes on October 24, with Mt Hutt closing on October 25 and Ruapehu expected to close that same day.
