    A multi-million dollar cash injection towards ending family and sexual violence


    The Government's just made the announcement in Wellington's Porirua - ahead of next week's Budget.

    More than 114 million bucks will go towards prevention services and community-led responses.

    That includes 37 million to beef up existing initiatives for Maori and Pacific communities - and 10 million to help victims and perpetrators of family violence.

    The cash will also give people easier access to specialist services and support related to non-fatal strangulation.
