A sex workers' collective's calling for the closure of a new Queenstown bar featuring strip shows, because it's not operating under an "adult entertainment" liquor licence

A sex workers' collective's calling for the closure of a new Queenstown bar featuring strip shows, because it's not operating under an "adult entertainment" liquor licence

Seek, the Ultimate Man Cave - which is 40 percent owned by Christchurch-based Calendar Girls - opened last Friday.

According to the ODT, more than 70 people objected to an adult entertainment licence for the club.

The Queenstown Lakes District Council's confirmed it will go to a hearing, but no date has been set.

Sex workers union Fired Up Stilettos says the bar shouldn't be allowed to operate as a 'tavern' in the meantime.
