A huge fire has "severely damaged" Belgian music festival Tomorrowland's elaborately decorated main stage two days before the event.
The fire broke out on Wednesday, local time, with the festival due to start on Friday.
''Due to a serious incident and fire on the Tomorrowland Mainstage, our beloved Mainstage has been severely damaged,'' the organisers posted on the event's website.
Images shared on local news sites and social media showed flames and plumes of black smoke engulfing the stage.
Fireworks can be heard going off in the footage, illuminating the smoke with occasional flashes of colour.
Despite the damage, festival organisers say no-one was injured in the blaze.
It is unclear what caused the fire.
Each year, the stage is elaborately decorated, which is a major feature of the festival.

Footage on social media showed a huge, mountain-like structure with an intricate, multi-level castle design to fit in with this year's theme — which was about melting ice.
"The festival's brand-new theme 'Orbyz', set in a magical universe made entirely out of ice, will reveal a hidden community that has been existing under a gigantic ice cap for many years," according to the festival's website.
"Once the mass of ice and glaciers starts melting, the indigenous community rises to the surface, consisting of a unique source of light, energy, and power that originates from powerful, red-colored crystals and rocks."
What is Tomorrowland?
Tomorrowland is an electronic dance music festival that has been held in Belgium for 20 years.
It is a major festival on the European calendar, attracting people from around the world to the town of Boom, which is just north of Brussels.
Tickets generally sell out within minutes of going on sale.
It is held across two weekends — this coming weekend and the one after.
The Tomorrowland website says 40,000 people are expected to attend.
Will the festival go ahead?
Yes.
"We are focused on finding solutions for the festival weekend," organisers wrote on the Tomorrowland website.
"More updates and detailed information will be communicated as soon as possible."
On Wednesday night, the organisers said the festival's campsite would be opening as planned.
