Uma Thurman found a new boyfriend after caring for his dog

The 50-year-old actress is dating architect Peter Sabbeth, who she met by chance on the beach in Sag Harbor in the Hamptons this summer when he asked her if she would mind watching his pooch while he took a swim

A source told the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column: "Peter had no idea who Uma was at the time. She was walking on the beach, known locally as Long Beach, near him, so he asked her to watch his dog while he took a swim

“Uma said OK, watched his dog while he swam, and now, a few months later, they are madly in love and looking to buy a home together in the Hamptons.”

The 50-year-old actress has spent several months quarantining in the Hamptons with her children, Maya, 22, and 18-year-old Levon - who she has with ex-husband Ethan Hawke, as well as Luna, eight, her daughter with former partner Arpad Busson.

And 'Stranger Things' star Maya previously complained the coronavirus crisis has forced her to put her life on hold and turned her back into "a kid" again.

She said: "I feel like the last three years of my life have been a dream and I'm just a kid again with my family. I moved out and got my whole life together and became a person. And this disease is like, 'Ha ha ha, just kidding! You're a kid, and you live with your parents.' It's constant anxiety and constant nothingness."

And Maya says she is grieving for her old life.

She explained: "I'm in mourning for my life. That's a joke. I'm fine. I'm very fortunate. But totally depressed and confused.

"I'm going through the five stages of grief with it. I was angry about it. I was in denial. And then I was bargaining: I'm going to fix it! And now I'm in resignation or whatever. I'm just sort of like, this is my new forever."
