Kaitlyn Bristowe has won 'Dancing With The Stars'

The 'Bachelorette' star and her professional dancing partner Artem Chigvintsev looked shocked as Tyra Banks revealed they were taking home the Mirrorball Trophy, pipping Nev Schulman to the post

Revealing the big news on Monday night's (23.11.20) final, Tyra paused for dramatic effect before excitedly telling the dancing duo: "The winners and new champions are Kaitlyn and Artem!"

Tyra even asked how they were feeling but they couldn't her because they were shrieking with excitement, with the model quipping: "They can't even hear me, they're so excited!"

The duo triumphed over 'Catfish' host Nev Schulman, who placed second with equally perfect scores. And rapper Nelly was third whilst actress Justina placed fourth.

Speaking before their final performance, Artem told Kaitlyn: "This your chance to finally tell all of the people who said you would not be able to be a dancer, ''Actually I am.'"

She replied with glee: "Actually I am ... On a very big stage."

Kaitlyn and Artem kicked off the show by performing their week nine Argentine tango to Britney Spears' Toxic, raking in a full house of 30 points for the dance.

Judge Derek Hough said: "What a perfect dance to remind people that you deserve to be here, and that you are a true contender for that Mirrorball Trophy. We held you to a high standard, and you've met it."

Whilst judge Carrie Ann Inaba added: "This is now one of my top three favourite dances of all time."

And Kaitlyn admitted she was so "passionate" about dancing, confessing: "This is the hardest I've worked at anything because of the passion behind it … It truly is a dream."

Elsewhere, Kaitlyn and Artem danced to 'Sparkling Diamonds' from 2001's 'Moulin Rouge' and Nev and his professional partner Jenna Johnson recreated their paso doble to Swan Lake.
