Kaley Cuoco has joked about missing out on a Globe Globe award on her Instagram account

The 35-year-old actress was nominated in the Best Actress in a Television Series - Musical or Comedy category for 'The Flight Attendant', but after losing out to Catherine O'Hara, Kaley decided to take to the photo-sharing platform to deliver a tongue-in-cheek response

Alongside a picture of herself sat on the floor in a dress, while eating a slice of pizza and holding a bottle of alcohol, Kaley wrote: "I would like to thank...never mind !! (sic)"

Prior to the ceremony, Kaley was surprised by her husband Karl Cook, who returned home early in order to be with her during the awards ceremony.

The actress - who previously played Penny in 'The Big Bang Theory' - revealed Karl had returned home early from an equestrian event so he could support her during the virtual ceremony on Sunday (28.02.21).

In an emotional Instagram Story post, Kaley said: "Most of you know that Karl is away at WEF, a big equestrian event circuit, for many, many, many weeks and was not going to be able to come back for the Globes tomorrow. We had talked about it and it was OK because it's virtual and I didn't want to make him come back for that.

“Well, I just answered the door and ..."

Then, Karl - who married the blonde beauty in 2018 - quipped: "... I just showed up. I was in the area."

Kaley was shocked by Karl's arrival but ultimately thrilled that he'd made the effort to support her.

She said: "I can't believe you got me so good. I can't believe you did that. These are tears by the way. I'm so glad you're here."
